Brent Monahan is an instructor at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ. As a tenor soloist, he performed with professional orchestras and with choral societies and at such places as the Trenton War Memorial and McCarter Theater, Princeton, NJ. He was for years tenor-in-residence for Rutgers University. His doctoral minor was in Musical Theatre Production. He was the first singer in IU Music history allowed to perform his own song cycle for his final concert. He has directed 27 professional or semi-professional musical theater productions.
